One clear piece of work
One repeated workflow with a defined trigger, output, users, person responsible and exceptions.
Margo Legal publishes free tools for measuring one workflow and the conditions for change. It does not deploy software, process live client documents or provide legal, regulatory or security assurance.

Every recommendation must trace to firm-supplied process evidence, named assumptions and a human-approved next step.
One repeated workflow with a defined trigger, output, users, person responsible and exceptions.
Operational records plus made-up or properly redacted examples. Live client documents are not required.
A named person and sponsor remain accountable for every decision and any later action.
Sources, limitations and incomplete numbers stay visible in anything Margo Legal writes for you.
Fixing the process, buying a tool, running a small supervised pilot and leaving it alone are compared using the same evidence.
Margo Legal is early stage. There are no invented results, production claims or guaranteed outcomes.

Director and delivery
Hamza holds an LLB in Law from the London School of Economics. For three and a half years, he supported lawyers using AI tools at a large international law firm. Margo Legal is his independent consultancy, not a law firm. He does the work himself, so you deal with the same person throughout.
Conflict disclosure
Margo Legal is developing its own contract-review software, Margo. Margo Legal's free tools and guides compare fixing the process, buying a vendor tool, running a small supervised pilot and leaving the workflow alone on the same criteria, and none of them recommends Margo.
Current status
Nothing Margo Legal delivers authorises software deployment or live-data use. A pilot would need its own scope, data route, controls, measures and responsible approvers.

Margo is in controlled development. The current build covers the deviation check only and has been tested locally with synthetic data. Nothing in this section is a production assurance.
Per-firm isolation and matter-level access controls have been tested locally with synthetic data. Independent testing and proof of isolation in production are still to come.
Authentication and per-firm isolation have local test evidence. Independent assurance and identity controls for a live deployment must be in place before any confidential client use.
Document extraction has been checked for synthetic TXT, Markdown and CSV files only. PDF and DOCX files have not been checked yet. This website does not accept documents.
The local build keeps an audit log for each firm, with CSV export. Keeping logs and anything drawn from documents needs an approved retention policy, so we make no claim yet about what logs contain.
Retention, backup and restore have not yet been qualified or approved by the owner, so we make no claim about customer data.
Incident-response, malware and restore exercises are conditions for launch. We do not present them as assurances.
We intend to name the model and provider that handle each task. Approved routes, provider retention, subprocessors and support access must be confirmed for each deployment. Whether firm data could be used for training depends on that route and the provider's contract. This website makes no model calls and endorses no provider.
The production hosting location has not been chosen. Data location, data flows and retention terms will be published only after they are verified for a deployment. A contract's governing law and the place where its data is processed are separate questions.
Access for live client matters depends on deployment evidence, provider contracts, legal-workflow review, completed security exercises and an approved trust pack.
Margo Legal works on one defined workflow at a time and keeps every source and assumption visible.
